Eunice Turner Munn

Eunice Turner Munn Florence, S.C. Eunice"Nanny" Turner Munn, 92, of Florence, passed away Monday, October 17, 2011 in a local hospital after an illness. Mrs. Munn was born in Florence County, SC, a daughter of the late Marvin B and Hattie Meggs Turner. She was employed in food services for Florence School District # 1 for twelve years. Mrs. Munn was a member of Liberty Chapel United Methodist Church, the UMW of Liberty Chapel and a member of Chapter 52 of the WOW. Nanny was a devoted, loving mother and grandmother who was deeply loved and will be sadly missed by all who knew her. Mrs. Munn was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Dudley H. Munn, Sr.; son, Marvin Rufus Munn; brother, Dallas Turner; and sister, Ruth Flowers. Surviving are her children, Dudley "Pete" H. (Bobbie Jean) Munn, Jr., Stephanie M. (Larry) Moore, and Pamela M. Taylor all of Florence; step-son, David L. (Diane) Munn of Florence; 4 grandchildren, Clint (Kim) Moore, Pamela Jayne (Bill) Bynum, Scott (April) Munn all of Florence, and Brad Munn of Arlington, TX; 8 great-grandchildren, Tripp (Lara) Moore, Brooke Moore, Will Bynum, Lauren Bynum, Carson Munn, Grace Munn all of Florence, Tanner Munn, and Mitchell Munn both of Texas;a special nephew, Al Shaw of Florence;a very special companion, Molly; and 1 great-great-grandchild, Leni Addison Moore, due to arrive December 2, 2011. Memorials may be made to the Lisa Moore Scholarship Fund at Liberty Chapel United Methodist Church, 7432 E. National Cemetery Road, Florence, SC 29506; or to a charity of one's choice. Funeral services will be held 1:00P.M. Thursday, October 20, 2011 in the chapel of Stoudenmire-Dowling Funeral Home. Burial will follow at Mount Hope Cemetery.
