Frances Kaye Leet

Frances Kaye Leet, 69, of Florence, passed away after a long illness on Friday, January 21, 2022. Ms. Leet was born in Clarinda, Iowa a daughter of the late Delbert Leet and Evelyn Barker Leet.She was a US Army veteran and received her Master of Arts at the Ottawa University in Ottawa, Kansas.She was an instructor at Betty Stevens School of Cosmetology from 1993 until her retirement in 2013 and was an avid photographer. Surviving are her niece, Heather Swanson of Wahoo, Nebraska, and her long time friend, Lorie Moore of Florence. Memorials may be made to the Wounded Warrior Project, www.woundedwarriorproject.org. Cremation services are being handled by Stoudenmire-Dowling Funeral Home.
