Frances Parsons Williams

Frances P. Williams, 87, of Florence, passed away on Monday, July 31, 2023. Mrs. Williams was born in Williamsburg County, SC a daughter of the late Ela Oliver Parsons and Sally Dennis Parsons. Until her retirement, she was a cosmetology instructor at Chris Logan Beauty College. She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, James L. “Bub” Williams; brothers, John Oliver Parsons, W.L. Parsons, and Albert Parsons; sisters, Betty Cox, Gladys Avant, and Annie Sue Martin. Surviving are her son, Pastor James (Joann) Freeman of Clio, SC; daughters, Lucy (Robert) Smart of Timmonsville and Donna Flowers of Johnsonville, SC; eight grandchildren, 17 great grandchildren and 2 great-great-grandchildren; and brother, Jimmy Parsons of Hemingway, SC. Memorials may be made to St. Jude, www.stjude.org. Graveside services will be held at 3:00 pm Wednesday, August 2, 2023 at Woodside Cemetery in Pamplico directed by Stoudenmire-Dowling Funeral Home.
