Frank Richard Heyward

Frank Richard Heyward, 92, of Florence, passed away on Sunday, January 15, 2023. Mr. Heyward was born in Florence Co., SC a son of the late William C. Heyward and Mammie Cross Heyward. He was a welder in the construction business. He was preceded in death by his parents; brothers, Roy Heyward, Bill Heyward, and Ekco Heyward; sisters, Alice Kathleen Heyward Mayo, Beatrice Fulton, and Mildred C. Moore. Surviving are his son, Rodney Frank Heyward of Mabank, TX; daughter, Darlene Heyward, of Florence, SC; four grandchildren; 4 great-grandchildren; brother, Clarence Heyward of Florence; and his niece, whom he lived with for the past 20 years, Patricia Ammons. The family will receive friends from 1:00 – 2:00 pm Wednesday, January 18, 2023 at Stoudenmire-Dowling Funeral Home with funeral services to be held at 2:30 pm at Florence Memorial Gardens.
