FRANK JARRETT BAGGETT Pamplico, S.C. Frank Jarrett Baggett, 86, of Pamplico went to be with the Lord on Friday, October 22, 2010. Mr. Baggett was born in Florence County, a son of the late Benjamin and Ida Poston Baggett. He was the oldest male member of Mt. Zion Baptist Church, where he served as a Deacon, was on the Church Building Committee, and served the Lord with gladness. He was a tremendous man of faith who loved his family and the Lord. He was a lifetime member of American Legion Post 98 for 63 years. He was a U.S. Navy veteran of WWII. He was employed for many years with C&S Motors, Royster Fertilizer, and was a farmer and a friend to all. He is survived by his wife of 58 years, Sue Garrison Baggett; by 4 daughters; Diana B. Jones of Myrtle Beach, Susan Turner and Michelle Baggett, both of Florence, and Kimberly B. Cox, of Pamplico; 2 Grandchildren, Victoria Hanna and Paul Jones of Johnsonville; 3 Great-Grandchildren, Mason Hanna, Caroline Hanna, and Langley Jones, all of Johnsonville; 1 brother, Claude Baggett of N. Augusta, S.C. and a half-sister, Edna DuRant of Florence. He was preceded in death by his parents, and 2 brothers, Clyde Baggett and B.J. Baggett. Funeral services will be held at 2:00 P.M. Monday, October 25, 2010 in Mt. Zion Baptist Church in Pamplico, with burial following in the church cemetery, directed by Stoudenmire-Dowling Funeral Home. The family will receive friends from 6-8:00 P.M. Sunday at the funeral home. Memorial contributions may be made to Mt. Zion Baptist Church, 1883 S. Pamplico Hwy., Pamplico, S.C. 29583.
