Frank Alan Vaught

It is with profound sadness that the family of Frank “Alan” Vaught announces his passing on April 2, 2025, at the age of 35 years old. He was born in Florence, SC, and the son of Jimmie Douglas “Doug” Vaught Jr. and Pamela “Pam” Allen Buchlak. Alan was a cherished son, sibling, grandson, and uncle. He was best known for his love of working on vehicles, fishing, spending time with his furry companion Mona, and his unconditional love for his nieces and nephew. He was best known for his sense of humor, loving nature, and being there for the ones he loved when they needed his assistance. Surviving are mother Pam Buchlak (George “Juraj); father Jimmie Douglas “Doug” (Connie) Vaught Jr. In addition to his parents, he is survived by his sister Stephanie Hughes (Matthew); Stepsister’s Mary Alice France (Justin); Sasa Van Ryswyck (Mike); Nada Omatayo (Olu); maternal grandmother Betty Allen; paternal grandparents Jean Allen (Davis); Nieces Morgan Howell (Brandon); Olivia Fountain; Abigail France; Delaney Hughes, and Mattie Hughes. Nephew Carson Medlin and great Nephew Layton Howell; Aunts, Linda Hutchinson, Frankie Poston (Roger) and Kelly Thomson (Garth). As well as his uncle Glenn Vaught (Elaine), and many cousins. He was preceded in death by his loving brother, Jason Vaught; maternal grandfather Frank Allen; paternal grandfather Jimmie Vaught Sr.; uncle’s Marshal Allen, C.E.
