Gary Lawrence Pace Sr.

Gary Lawrence Pace Sr., of Olanta South Carolina, passed away on Wednesday February 8, 2023. He was born in Florence County, South Carolina, a son of the late Leon Blondell Pace and Marie Windham Pace. He served his country in both the US navy and the army and was a member of Peace Free Will Baptist Church where he served as deacon. He drove trucks for 43 years and was an excellent mechanic. Surviving is his wife, Angela Carolyn Lloyd Pace of Olanta; sons, Gary (Natasha) Pace, Stephen (Pam) Pace, and Craig (Liana) Pace; 10 grandchildren; 8 great grandchildren; brothers, Leon (Pat) Pace, and Gene Pace. Memorials may be made to the Peace Free Will Baptist Church, 897 3rd Loop Rd, Florence, SC 29505. A memorial service will be held at 2:00 PM Tuesday, February 14, 2023, at Peace Free Will Baptist Church outside under the oak tree.
