Harold A Carraway

Harold A. Carraway, 86, of Florence, SC, passed away June 19, 2024. He is the son of the late James Fred Carraway and Annie Pearl Coward Carraway. Harold was a member of Effingham Church of God. He also was the owner and operator of Harolds Pump Repair. In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by his daughter, Phyllis Wood; brothers, J.W. Carraway, Cecil Carraway, and Willard Carraway. He is survived by his wife, Madeline Powell Carraway; daughter, Pamela (Stephen) Blackmon; grandchildren, Jake and Justin Wood, Nicki Broach, Amber Harrington, and Jeri Harrington; a number of great grandchildren including, Emerlynn, Damien, and Delilah Wood. The family will receive friends on Thursday, June 20, 2024 from 5:00 – 7:00 PM at Stoudenmire-Dowling Funeral Home. A funeral service will be held Friday, June 21, 2024, at 11:00 AM at Effingham Church of God, 149 McLaughlin Road. Entombment will follow at Florence Memorial Gardens.
