Hazel Evans Daniels

Hazel Evans Daniels, 78, of Fayetteville, NC, left her sick and broken earthly body behind to be fully healed and in the arms of Jesus on Saturday, May 27, 2023. Mrs. Daniels was born on May 5, 1945 in Florence, SC a daughter of the late Ozzie Evans and Linnie Matthews Evans. She was an awesome cook that learned how to cook from her mother-in-law. Hazel had an outgoing personality and never met a stranger. She was a faithful wife who loved her kids and grandkids very much and was never afraid to show her affection. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband of 49 years, Jimmy Daniels, who passed away on January 11, 2013; son, Jamie Daniels; brothers, Richard and Rafton Evans. Surviving are her daughters, Mandy (Eric) Clark of Raeford, NC and Melissa (Jon) Buchholz of Florence; grandchildren, Zane Buchholz of Asheville, NC, Cade Buchholz of Florence, SC, Shreve Clark of Atkinson, NC, Ashlyn Clark of Raeford, NC, Danielle Miller and Trey Daniels, both of Lexington, SC; great-grandchildren, Dawson Daniels, Jamilyn and Cameryn Miller, all of Lexington, SC; sister, Virginia Powell of Florence, SC. The family will receive friends from 3:00 pm – 4:00 pm Saturday, June 3, 2023 at Stoudenmire-Dowling Funeral Home with a Celebration of Life to be held at 4:00 pm in the funeral home chapel. Everyone is encouraged to wear pink, Hazel’s favorite color. Burial will be private.
