Henry S. Bromley

Henry S. Bromley, III, 85, of Florence, passed away on Monday, June 13, 2022. Mr. Bromley was born in Boston, Mass. a son of the late Henry S. Bromley, Jr. and Ruth Dana Bromley.He was a graduate of Trinity College in Hartford, CT and then entered the US Army.He started working as a Commodities Broker until the 1970’s when he went back to school at Hahnemann University to become a RN and received a BSN at LaSalle University.He worked in ICU, CCU, and the last 20 years as a Home Health Care nurse.In his younger years, he was a volunteer fireman in Gladwyne, PA.He was a member and a food pantry volunteer at St. Ann Catholic Church, and a volunteer with St. Anthony’s Parking Lot Ministry. Surviving are his wife, Patricia “Pat” McGillin Bromley; sons, Henry S. “Kit” Bromely, IV, Frank Bromley, and Robert Bromley; daughter, Regina “Gina” Bromley; grandchildren, Hannah Bromley and Lily Bromley; brothers, Roger Bromley, Brad Bromley, and Peter Bromley; sister, Rosemary Hubbard. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to St. Ann’s Food Pantry, 113 S Kemp Street, Florence, SC 29506 or to your local food pantry. A memorial mass will be held at 12:00 noon Friday, June 17, 2022 at St. Ann Catholic Church with a luncheon to follow in the Parish Hall. Inurnment will take place at a later date in the Florence National Cemetery directed by Stoudenmire-Dowling Funeral Home.
