Harry Wayne Gaymon

Harry (Hank) Wayne Gaymon, 65, of Florence, SC, passed away on Saturday, May 4, 2024. Mr. Gaymon was born the son of the late Vergie Jenkins Gaymon and Marshall J. Gaymon. He was employed at Delta Mills for 16 years and retired around 1990 due to a decline in health. He was a man of few words and loved to “tinker” around in the yard and barn. He is survived by his daughters, Crystal Turner, Staci Morris and Jasmine Morris and step daughters Beth Willis and Renae Matthews (husband Sammie Matthews); two grandchildren Isabella Rayne Turner and Richard Vann Wyatt; life partner of 35 years, Nellie P. Owens; brothers, Larry Gaymon of Evergreen and Henry (Leona) Gaymon of Rockingham, NC; sisters, Joye Fields of Effingham, Dorthy (Phil) Pierce of Timmonsville, Carol (Jerry) Purvis of Darlington and Wanda (Ted) Kohler of Evergreen and special friend, Niki Williams. The Memorial Service will be held at Mr. Gaymon’s residence of 3303 Twin Church Rd in Timmonsville, SC 29161 on Wednesday May 15th, 2024, at 3:00pm.
