Henry Mcneill Hodges

Henry McNeill Hodges, 84, of Florence, passed away on Sunday, October 15, 2023. Mr. Hodges was born in Florence, SC a son of the late Henry G. Hodges and Jessie McNeill Hodges. He served in the US Coast Guard, was co-owner/partner of Oh Henry’s car dealership for about 15 years, and retired from Stone Container. He loved football, antique cars, and his beloved canine companion, Cricket. He was preceded in death by his parents and his sister, Virginia Dale Hodges. Surviving are his daughter, Angela (David) Taylor; grandchildren, Hanan Taylor, Mark Taylor, and Noah Taylor; special friend, Valerie B. Hodges. A special gratitude is extended to Heritage Home and Agape Hospice for outstanding care. The family will receive friends from 5 – 7 pm Tuesday, October 17, 2023 at Stoudenmire-Dowling Funeral Home. Funeral services will be held at 2:00 pm Wednesday, October 18, 2023 at the Florence Memorial Gardens Mausoleum Chapel. Entombment will follow.
