Henry Edward Knight

Henry Edward Knight, infant son of Dawson B. Knight and Autumn Vandevander, passed away on Sunday, September 25, 2022. He was preceded in death by his paternal great-grandmother, Sarah Caulder (Henry) Knight and maternal great-grandfather, Ralph Poston. Henry is survived by his parents; four year old sister, Aurora Anastasia Knight; paternal grandfather, Mitchell Ritch of Effingham; paternal grandmother, Sarah (Eugene) Waters of Effingham; maternal grandfather, Michael Vandevander, Sr. of Pamplico; maternal grandmother, Christy Vandevander of Pamplico; uncles, Ronald Powell of Effingham and Michael (Auna) Vandevander of Johnsonville; aunt, Amber Filyaw of Darlington; cousins, Brittney Filyaw, Alexandria Miles, and CJ Miles, all of Darlington; great-aunts, Crystal (Ronnie) Flowers and Mary Lee Carraway, both of Florence. The family will receive friends from 1 – 2 pm Wednesday, September 28, 2022 at Stoudenmire-Dowling Funeral Home with a memorial service to be held at 2:00 pm in the funeral home chapel.
