Herbert Crawford Stidham, Jr.

Herbert Crawford Stidham, Jr., of Florence, SC, passed away Sunday, October 6, 2024. He is the son of the late Herbert Crawford Stidham, Sr. and Mary Alice Squires Stidham. Herbert was an avid fisherman, hardworking, and would drop anything to help others. He was an all-around handyman. He coached baseball for a number of years and enjoyed all sports. He is survived by his sons, Ron (Karen) Stidham of Florence, SC and Kent (Leslie) Stidham of Darlington, SC; daughter, Melissa Hall of Timmonsville, SC; grand-children, Savannah Stidham, Destiny Stidham, Derrick Buie, Jeremy Buie, Tripp Hall, Kayla Browder, Keith Stidham, and Jax; 15 great-grandchildren and his companion, Kathy Evans. The family will receive friends Wednesday, October 9, 2024, from 5:00-7:00 PM at Stoudenmire-Dowling Funeral Home. The funeral service will be Thursday, October 10, 2024, at 11:00 at the funeral home.
