Hunter James Floyd

Hunter James Floyd, 21, of Florence, SC passed away on Friday, November 18, 2022. Hunter was born in Florence, SC a son of Richard James “Jamie” Floyd and Carrie Anne Jordan. He was employed with TC Carter Logging Company and loved baseball, hunting and fishing, and had a fierce love for his family and friends. He was getting ready to fufill a life long dream of enlisting in the U.S. Army. He was preceded in death by paternal grandfather, Ric Floyd. Surviving are his father, Jamie (Kim) Floyd; mother, Carrie Anne (April McCutcheon) Jordan; sisters, Sara Anne Floyd, Anna Grace Floyd, and Layla Wilson; maternal grandparents, Ray and Debbie Jordan; paternal grandparent, Grace Floyd; aunt, Callie Jordan; uncle, Andy Floyd; a number of cousins and extended family and many special friends. Memorials may be made to Wounded Warriors, www.woundedwarriorproject.com. The family will receive friends from 3 – 5 pm Sunday, November 20, 2022 at Stoudenmire-Dowling Funeral Home and other times at the residences of his parents. Graveside services will be held at 2:00 pm Monday, November 21, 2022 at Mount Hope Cemetery.
