Irene Marie Thompson Young

Irene Marie Thompson Young, 80, passed away Sunday, October 20, 2024. She was born in Beckley, West Virgina, the daughter of the late Kelly Thompson and Gladys Lawrence Thompson. Ms. Young was a hard worker and worked for Wells- Fargo for over 30 years. She was a loving and very compassionate person who liked puzzles, game shows, spending time with her grandkids and the beach. In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by son, Charles Craig Young; brother, Larry Thompson; and sister, Teresa Thompson. Surviving are her daughter, Tamara Young; grandchildren, Reagan and Charles “Robby” Young; and daughter in law, Robin Young. The family is being assisted by Stoudenmire-Dowling Funeral Home.
