Ivor James Mcmillian, Jr.

Florence, South Carolina Ivor James McMillian, Jr., 71 of Florence, died Friday, April 01, 2011 in a local health care facility after an illness. Mr. McMillian was born in Florence, SC a son of the late Ivor James and Mary Ella Fowler McMillian, Sr.He was a US Navy Veteran having served during the Vietnam War.He was the former Owner/Operator of Mac's Used Tires in Florence and was the Owner/Operator of his own trucking line.Mr. McMillian was a member of the Moose Lodge, the American Legion Post #1, and the V.F.W. He is preceded in death by his parents and a brother, Everett Wallard McMillian. Surviving are his wife of sixteen years, Crystal Henry McMillian of the home, three children, Traci Jo Conner of Lascruces, NM, Kelli Lynn (Larry) Wileman of Camp Hill, PA, and James Levone Tamasko of CA; three grandchildren, Sara Catherine Gutshall of Martinberg, WV, Samuel Lynn Gutshall of Camp Hill, PA, and Elliott Joseph Birkman of Lascruces, NM; two sisters, Betsy Lane Morgan of Florence and Linda (Larry) Ross of Tifton, GA; and a number of nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be held at 2:00 PM Monday, April 4, 2011 in the Stoudenmire-Dowling Funeral Home Chapel.The family will receive friends from 6-8 PM Sunday at the funeral home.
