Jack Buckley Carey

Jack Buckley Carey, 84, of Florence, passed away on Friday, June 24, 2022. Mr. Carey was born in Washington, DC a son of the late George Albert Carey and Ruth Buckley Carey.He retired from Maryland State Police and then retired from General Electric. Surviving are his wife, Jane Oliver Watkins Carey of Florence; children, Jan (Bill) Kirven and Jackie (Rob) Hall; grandchildren, Blake (Lauren) Kirven, Molly (William) Norton, Grace (Chris) Horton, Sarah Parrish, Daniel Parrish, and Logan Hall; great-grandchildren, Hampton Kirven, Olive Norton, Caroline Horton, and Lydia Horton. Memorials may be made In honor of Jack’s great-grandson, Hampton, to ADNP Kids Research Foundation, 24500 NE 132nd Circle, Brush Prairie, WA 98606 or to Show Mercy International, PO Box 1003, Port Gibson, MS39150. A memorial service will be held at a later date.
