James Elmer "Jamie" Farley

James Elmer “Jamie” Farley, III, 65, of Florence, passed away on Thursday, January 13, 2022. Mr. Farley was born in Oklahoma City, OK a son of Lorene Key McDonald and the late Elmer Farley, Jr.He was owner and operator of James’ Professional Painting.He loved working in flowers, fishing, outdoors, and his cat, Sugar.Jamie was a loving husband and was the #1 Sooner Fan. He was preceded in death by his father, and by his step-father, Jim McDonald. Surviving are his wife, Deborah Hatfield Farley of Florence; step-sons, Jonathan (Leslie) Hewitt of Aberdeen, MD and Christopher (Beth) Hewitt of Charlotte, NC; five grandchildren and 2 great-grandchildren; mother of Midwest City, OK; brothers, Rodney (Heather) Farley, Richard Farley, David Farley, all of Midwest City, OK; sisters, Deborah Segraves of Midwest City, OK, Rebecca (John) Sexton of Oklahoma City, OK, Gail Bales of Piedmont, OK, and Kim (Asa) Crane of Corinth, KY; and many nieces and nephews and friends. Memorials may be made to Little Star Free Will Baptist Church, 2750 Lake City Highway, Lake City, SC 29560. The family will receive friends from 11:00 am – 12:00 pm Monday, January 17, 2022 at Stoudenmire-Dowling Funeral Home with the service to be held at 12:00 pm in the funeral home chapel.Burial will follow in Garden of Memories Cemetery.
