James "Jim" Lewis Anderson

James “Jim” Lewis Anderson, 65, of Florence, passed away on Wednesday, October 19, 2022. Mr. Anderson was born the son of the late Mary Elizabeth Bland Anderson and Nathaniel G. Anderson. He graduated from Francis Marion with a Bachelor’s Degree in Science and was of the Methodist faith. Mr. Anderson was a veteran of the US Navy serving four years, including a Mediterranean deployment to Italy, Greece and Rota, Spain. He retired as a machine operator with La-Z-Boy Furniture. Mr. Anderson enjoyed spending time with his family and friends, attending and watching sports, helping others, and fishing. He loved his dogs. In addition to his parents, he is predeceased by his wife, Linda Elizabeth Ferraro Anderson. Mr. Anderson is survived by his son, James Michael Anderson, his sister, Patti Anderson Odom of Lexington, SC, and step-daughter. Lisa Johnson and her husband, Wesley Johnson. Family will receive friends from 12:00 – 1:00 PM on Tuesday, October 25, 2022, at Stoudenmire-Dowling Funeral Home. Funeral Service will be held at 1:00 PM on Tuesday at Stoudenmire-Dowling Funeral Home Chapel. Burial will follow at Florence National Cemetery.
