James Richard "Richie" Parrott

James Richard “Richie” Parrott, 51, of Florence, SC, passed away on Friday, April 28, 2023. He was born in Jacksonville, FL, the son of James Covington Parrott and Retta Stephenson Parrott. He was a 1991 graduate of South Florence High School. Mr. Parrott worked at ACS Technology as a Technologies Senior Product Lead. He was also a member of Greenwood Baptist Church. Mr. Parrott was a loving man, who was equally loved by all. He would do anything to assist anyone, showcasing his kind personality. In addition to his parents, surviving are his wife, Charlotte “Alysia” Stroud Parrott; and sons, Tyler and Ashton Parrott. In lieu of flowers, memorials can be made to the Sensory Academic Solutions, 1800 2nd Loop Road, Suite 8, Florence, SC 29501. The family will receive friends from 12:30 pm – 2:00 pm Thursday, May 4, 2023, at Stoudenmire-Dowling Funeral Home. The funeral service will be held at 2:00 pm in the funeral home chapel. The entombment will follow immediately after at Florence Memorial Gardens Mausoleum.
