It is with our deepest sorrow that we announce the loss of our beloved mother, grandmother, sister, aunt, and friend. Janice Bonnette Kirven of Florence went to be with our precious Lord and Savior on Sunday, February 6, 2022. Mrs. Kirven was born in Neeses, SC a daughter of the late L.C. Bonnette and Veva Tindall Bonnette.She was a graduate of Columbia College and a member of John Calvin Presbyterian Church.She was an avid tennis player and officiated Youth Tennis.Janice was a talented musician and loved to travel. She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Rogers W. Kirven, who passed away on May 31, 2013; brothers, George L. Bonnette, Henry E. Bonnette, Gary S. Bonnette, and James O. Bonnette; step-daughter, Renee K. Wilson. Surviving are her daughters, Bonnita K. (Richard) Andrews and Laura L. Kirven; son, John R. (Tammy) Kirven; step-son, Rogers W. (Pam) Kirven, Jr.; step-daughter, Marcia K. McNeil; grandchildren, Taylor E. Broach, Bryce W. (Seraina) Broach, John Rogers Kirven, Jr., Anna K. Spurlin, Jane H. Kirven, Charles E. Kirven, Jonathan R. Kirven, Rebecca M. Kirven, Charles P. Matthews, Jr., Leah Matthews, Maggie McNeil, and Jennifer H. Deberry, and a number of great-grandchildren; sisters, Annette Sharpe and Judy (Gary) Spence.
