Jay Edward Roessler Florence, SC Jay Edward Roessler, 55, of Florence, SC passed away Wednesday, January 25, 2012 at his residence. Mr. Roessler was born in Washington, Pennsylvania, a son of Betty Washabaugh Roesslerand the late Edward William Roessler. He graduated in 1974 from Chartiers-Houston High School in Houston, PA . He was the Owner/Operator of Energy Source, Inc. and was a member of First Presbyterian Church in Florence. Mr. Roessler was preceded in death by his father; his paternal grandparents, John and Dorothy Roessler; his maternal grandparents, John and Grace Washabaugh. Mr. Roessler is survived by his mother, Betty Washabaugh Roessler of Florence; his fiancé, Rita Pattillo of Florence; a sister, Linda (Peete) Smiley of Florence; a brother, Donald John Roessler (Mary Lou Demo) of Cannonsburg, PA; step-children, Melissa Byrne and Samantha Shannon-Santoro; step-grandchildren, Chloe Byrne, Darnell, and Aiden; a niece, Lindsay Gregg; his aunt and uncle, Robert and Audrey Washabaugh, and a large extended Roessler Family. A funeral service will be held at 1:00PM Friday, January 27, 2012in the chapel of Stoudenmire-Dowling Funeral Home, Florence, SC. A funeral service will be held at 11:00 AM Monday, January 30, 2012 in the McIlvaine-Speakman Funeral Home, Houston, PA.Burial will follow the service in Houston, PA at the Oak Springs Cemetery in Canonsburg, Pennsylvania.
