Jennifer Graham Hanna

Jennifer Graham Hanna, 46, passed away Friday, May 26, 2023 at her home. She was the wife of Anthony (Tony) LeGrande Hanna and mother of Addison Lee Hanna. Jennifer was the beloved daughter of John Preston “Johnny”, Jr. and Connie Graham and daughter-in-law of LeGrande and Glenda Hanna. She was the sister of John Preston “Jay” Graham, III (Sherry) and sister-in-law of Glen (Patricia) Hanna. Jennifer was a graduate of Lake City High School and Florence Darlington Technical College. She was a former employee of the Florence YMCA. Jennifer resided in Florence, South Carolina with her husband since their marriage in 2001. In 2005, Jennifer was diagnosed with Multiple Sclerosis. She did not let this define her life. In 2014, Jennifer and Tony had a beloved daughter Addison Lee, their miracle. Jennifer was never seen without smiling radiantly and dressed beautifully. Jennifer was an active member of Ebenezer Baptist Church. Jennifer’s church family and faith were essential to her life. She was a member of the Faith Builders Sunday School Class. Jennifer spent much of her day living in community with her church family by way of their telephone conversations. Jennifer grew up with her loving family in Lake City, South Carolina. Jennifer was predeceased by her maternal grandparents Carl and Claudia Langley and paternal grandparents John Preston and Elsie Graham. She is survived by her many aunts and uncles who loved her dearly: Jamie (Janice) Graham, Julian (Susan) Graham, Joan (William) Shelley, Wayne (Von) Hanna, David (Wanda) Hanna, Bill (Brenda) Graham, and Marsha (Joe) Butler. She is also survived by her nieces and nephews: Emma Grace Graham, John Preston Graham, IV, Laci Hanna, and Lauren Hanna, Katelyne Smith, and Zach Smith. Visitation will be Tuesday, May 30, 2023 at 3:00 PM at Ebenezer Baptist Church followed by a service at 4:00 PM. Burial will follow in the Ebenezer Baptist Church Cemetery directed by Stoudenmire-Dowling Funeral Home. Memorials may be sent to Ebenezer Baptist Church, 524 S. Ebenezer Road, Florence, SC 29501.
