JESSE WILLIS “JW” BISSETTE Florence, South Carolina JESSE WILLIS “JW” BISSETTE, 80, died Tuesday, November 23, 2010 in a local healthcare facility. Mr. Bissette was born in Nash County, North Carolina, the son of the late John Allison Bissette and Lucindy Joyner Bissette.He was a Veteran of the US Army having served in the Korean War.He retired as a machinist from CSXRailroad after forty two years.Mr. Bissette was a member of the John Calvin Presbyterian Church and a life member of International Association of Machinist and Aerospace Workers and was certified in heating and air from Florence-Darlington TEC. He is predeceased by his parents, a brother, Ray Bissette, and two sisters, Beatrice Lloyd and Gertrude Carroll. Surviving are his children, Stuart (June) Bissette of Florence, SC and Jeffrey Bissette of Irmo, SC;his former wife and loving caretaker, Joyce Mosley Bissette; three sisters, Pauline Jones of Wake Forest, NC, Hilda Hicks of Middlesex, NC, and Gail Liles of Middlesex, NC; step-granddaughter, Brandy Smith and a number of nieces and nephews. Memorials may be made to the National Parkinson Foundation, Gift Processing Center, P. O. Box 5018, Hagerstown, MD21741-5018 or to the Alzheimer’s Association, South Carolina Chapter, 3223 Sunset Boulevard, Ste 100, West Columbia, SC 29169. Funeral services will be held at 1:00 P.M. on Saturday, November 27, 2010 in the Stoudenmire-Dowling Funeral Home Chapel.Burial will follow at Florence Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends from 5-7 PMFriday, November 26, 2010 at the funeral home.
