Jim Allen Flowers Sr.

Jim Allen Flowers Sr., 73, of Effingham, SC, passed away on Wednesday, September 25, 2024. Mr. Flowers was born in Florence, SC the son of the late Ernest Flowers and Genevea Williams Flowers. He was a member at Elim Bible Church and spent 22 years working as a technician for Harris Pest Control. In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by his son, Ronnie Eugene Flowers; and grandson, Christian Allen Flowers; and sisters, Mary Gunner and Martha Lamb Surviving are his wife, of 53 years, Barbara Allen Flowers; son, Jim Allen (Stacey) Flowers Jr.; daughter, Cheri Allen (Wilson) Horton; grandchildren, Timothy Allen Flowers, Julia Tyner, Danny Tyner, and Jeffery Barefoot; great-grandchildren, Gage Flowers, Addisen Defee, Maycee-Mills Flowers, Payton Flowers and Drake Flowers; and brothers, Ervin Flowers, Carl Flowers and Zeb Flowers. The family will receive friends from 1:00 PM – 2:00 PM, on Saturday, September 28, 2024, at Stoudenmire-Dowling Funeral Home. Funeral service will be held at 2:00 PM, on Saturday, September 28, 2024, at the funeral home. Burial will follow at Scranton United Methodist Church Cemetery.
