JIMMY CAROL "JAYCIE" ALEXANDER FLORENCE, S.C. Jimmy Carol "Jaycie" Alexander, 25, of Florence, died Tuesday, May 17, 2011. Jaycie was born in Florence, the daughter of Michael Dean Wheatley Sr. and Susan Todd Overstreet. She was employed with Desert Sun Tanning Studios, and was a member of New Spring Church, where she was saved on December 24, 2010, and was baptized on February 13 , 2011. Surviving are her mother Susan and her husband Larry Overstreet of Florence, her father Michael and his wife Denise of Lawrenceville, GA. her son, Jayden Christopher Alexander of Florence; 4 brothers, Michael Dean Wheatley, Jr. and Conley Paul Wheatley of Florence, Michael Kevin Brooks and Jake Madison Britt of Lawrenceville, GA.; her sister Savannah Lee Britt of Lawrenceville, GA; her maternal grandfather, Jimmy Todd, Jr. and his wife, Peggy Todd of Dillon; her paternal grandfather, Jack Wayne Wheatley, Sr. and his wife, Francine Wheatley of Scotland Neck, NC; her paternal grandmother,Wanda Gallman and her husband, Rex Gallman of Moncks Corner; her aunts, Liz Stubbs andJimmy Carol Avent of Bennettsville and Sherry Wheatley of Charleston; her uncles,Jack Wayne Wheatley, Jr. of Pennsylvania, Bill Stubbs and Mark Avent of Bennettsville and a number of cousins and friends. She was preceded in death by her maternal grandmother, Elizabeth C."Mama Lib" Todd and by an uncle, Daniel C. Todd. Funeral services will be held at 3:00 P.M. Saturday, May 21, 2011 at Parkwood Presbyterian Chruch. Burial will follow in Mount Hope Cemetery, directed by Stoudenmire-Dowling Funeral Home. The family will receive friends from 6-8:00 P.M.
