Joanne M. Ross

JoAnne M. Ross, 86, of Florence, passed away on Thursday, December 1, 2022. Mrs. Ross was born in Florence, SC a daughter of the late John T. Monson and Gladys Hinds Monson. She was a member of Liberty Chapel United Methodist Church and had been attending Tans Bay Baptist Church with her daughter, Judy. JoAnne received her Master’s Degree in Education and taught in Florence School District One at Henry Timrod and Wallace Gregg Schools. Surviving are her sons, Lacy T. (Cathy) Quick of Florence and Walt (Trish) Quick of Gresham, SC; daughters, Judy (Clyde) Turner of Florence and Lisha (Jimmy) McCall of Myrtle Beach, SC; grandchildren, Robbie Quick, Kelly Cross, John Quick, Heather Wilson, Christopher Nobles, Zack Quick, Annah Heinen, Drew McCall, and Margaret Hall; great-grandchildren, Dalton Quick, Kayla Quick, Seth Cross, Olivia Quick, McKenzie Quick, Connar Wilson, Blane Wilson, Tessa Nobles, Jaxon Quick, Alina Heinen, and Alex Heinen. The family will receive friends from 1:00 pm – 2:00 pm Monday, December 5, 2022 at Stoudenmire-Dowling Funeral Home with the service to be held at 2:00 pm in the funeral home chapel.
