John James Parker

John James Parker, 27, of Florence, SC, passed away on Tuesday, December 7, 2021. John James was born the son of Christine Elizabeth Kelley Parker and James Carl Parker, Jr.He worked in construction as an iron worker. John James knew how to be friend. And if he was your friend, he was a SOLID stick by you through thick and thin type of friend. He was smart, talented and when he smiled it felt like the sun rose in your heart. A fantastic outdoorsman who was a hunting and fishing buddy to so many. Actually the best anybody has seen and he loved it with all his heart. It’s that tender heart that will be missed most. He is predeceased by his paternal grandfather, James Carl Parker, Sr. and brother, James “Jace” Carl Parker, III. In addition to his parents, he is survived by his brother, Jackson Clark Parker of Savannah, GA; paternal grandmother, Jeanette McGee Parker of Florence; maternal grandparents, Jack Lee Kelley and Flora Gaines Kelley of Myrtle Beach, SC; and great aunt, Jean Kelley of Dalton, GA. Graveside Service will be held at 11:00 AM on Friday, December 10, 2021, at Mount Hope Cemetery directed by Stoudenmire-Dowling Funeral Home.Family will receive friends immediately following the service.
