John E. Stokes

John E. Stokes, 71, of North Myrtle Beach, SC, passed away on Friday, May 17, 2024. Mr. Stokes was born the son of the late Mary Holloway Stokes and Carroll J. Stokes. He was a strong, hardworking and spirited man who loved his family. Surviving are his companion of 10 years, Cynthia Carpenter; daughters, Misty Stokes of Charlotte, NC, Jennifer Bright of Gastonia, NC, Samantha Milbee of Gastonia, NC; grandchildren, Zorah Hall, Cameron Barnes, Victoria Milbee and Hannah Milbee; great-grandchild, Zaiden Sanches; brother, Allen Stokes of Hickory, NC and sister, Carolyn Stubbs of Harrisburg, NC.
