John T. Thibodeaux, Jr.

John T. Thibodeaux, Jr., 60, a native of Baton Rouge, LA and a resident of Florence, SC, passed away on Sunday, November 13, 2022. He is survived by his brother, Kevin (Terry) of Covington, LA; sister, Toni (Lev) of Denver, CO; and stepmother, Laura Cronin Thibodeaux of Baton Rouge, LA. He is also survived by uncles, aunts, and cousins. He was preceded in death by his parents, John T. Thibodeaux, Sr. and Oneida Tumlin Thibodeaux. John graduated from Episcopal High School in Baton Rouge, and excelled in basketball, football, track, baseball, and golf. He earned degrees from Millsaps College and Tulane University. John was the owner of Pet Lovers Warehouse, with three stores in South Carolina. He enjoyed computers, guitars, golf, SEC football, and friends. A memorial gathering of family and friends will be held on Monday, January 30, 2023 from 5 to 7 pm at Stoudenmire-Dowling Funeral Home, 2402 S Irby St, Florence, SC. Memorial donations may be made to a charity of your choice.
