Jonathan Carson Smith Florence, SC Jonathan Carson Smith. , 17, of Florence, SC died Wednesday, May 25, 2011, at a Florence hospital. Mr. Smith was born in Marion, South Carolina, a son of Steven Carson Smith and Lynn Brown Bulloch. He was a junior at West Florence High School and was also an active member of New Spring Church and the Fuse Youth Group. Survivors include his father, Steven Carson Smith of Mullins; mother, Lynn Brown (Gary) Bulloch of Florence; brother, Steven Bradley Smith of Mullins; step-brother, Hunter Bulloch of Florence; step-sister, Lauren Bulloch of Florence; paternal grandparents, Ernest and Pauline Smith Jr. of Mullins; maternal grandparents, Jimmy and Linda Brown of Evergreen, NC; grandmother, Eloise Bulloch of Cerro Gordo, NC and his beloved girlfriend Anna Heaster of Florence. Funeral services will be held 3:00PM Sunday, May 29, 2011 at New Spring Church in the Florence Civic Center. Burial will follow at Mount Hope Cemetery directed by Stoudenmire-Dowling Funeral Home. The family will receive friends from 7:00-9:00PM on Saturday at the funeral home. Memorials may be made to New Spring Fuse Youth Group, 2011C Second Loop Road, Florence, SC 29501.
