Joseph Thomas Lloyd, Jr Florence, SC Joseph Thomas Lloyd, Jr. , 85, of Florence, SC passed away Thursday, May 26, 2011, at a Florence hospital after an illness. Mr. Lloyd was born in Darlington County, SC, a son of the late Joseph Thomas and Martha Jane Windham Lloyd Sr.He retired after thirty years as a telecommunication supervisor for the South Carolina Highway Patrol. He was a member of Highland Park United Methodist Church and was a devoted husband and father. He was preceded in death by his parents; his wife, Sylvia Jean Trammell Lloyd, and foster sister, Rozelle Howell. Surviving are a son, Danny Ray (Yolly) Lloyd of Bahama NC; daughter, Linda Lloyd (Curtis "Ricky") Evans of Florence; a grandchild, Daniel Seng of Germany; sister, Martha (Curtis) Plummer of Anderson, two nephews, one niece, and his beloved canine companion "Dusty". Funeral services will be held at 3:00 PM Sunday, May 22, 2011 at Highland Park United Methodist Church. Entombment will follow in the Florence Memorial Gardens Mausoleum.
