Joyce Brenda Collins

Joyce Brenda Collins, 77, of Florence, SC, passed away Saturday, August 10, 2024. She was the daughter of the late Ernest Matthew McKissick and Rosa Lee Turner McKissick. Joyce was a member of Central United Methodist Church for 77 years where she played in the handbell choir and was pianist for the Wesley Fellowship Sunday School Class. In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her husband, Darrell Collins; brothers, David McKissick, Ludie McKissick, James McKissick, and Donnie McKissick; sister, Audrey Reno She is survived by her daughter, Melodee Collins Wood; grandchild, Collin Wood; several nieces and nephews; and her sister-in-law, Gloria McKissick. The family will receive friends Wednesday August 14, 2024, from 1:00 to 2:00 PM at Central United Methodist Church in the commons area with the funeral service to follow at 2:00 PM in the sanctuary of the church. Burial to follow at Mount Hope Cemetery.
