Joyce McNabb Weaver Florence, SC Joyce McNabb Weaver, 79, of Florence, passed away on Monday, August 1, 2011 in a local hospital after an illness. Mrs. Weaver was born in Gastonia, NC, a daughter of the late James Vernon and Erma Jenkins McNabb.She retired in 1996 from Wellman Industries in Darlington, SC and was a member of Northgate Baptist Church, where she was in the Adult Ladies Sunday School Class. Surviving are her husband of 60 years, Robert Ervin Weaver of the home; two sons, Gene (Myra) Weaver of Gastonia, NC and Dennis (Teressa) Weaver of Florence; three daughters, Brenda (Ronnie) Zimmerman of Gastonia, NC, Linda (Bill) Kimbrell of Florence, and Robin (Alvin) Hewitt of Florence; a brother, Truitt (Roxie) McNabb of Cedar Bluff, AL; eight grandchildren; and seven great-grandchildren. Funeral services will be held at 12:00 Noon on Thursday, August 4, 2011 at Northgate Baptist Church directed by Stoudenmire-Dowling Funeral Home.Entombment will be at the Florence Memorial Gardens Mausoleum. Memorials may be made to Northgate Baptist Church, 1217 N. Ebenezer Road, Florence, SC 29501. The family will receive friends from 11:00 AM-12:00 PM Thursday at the church.
