Joyce Page Grace Baird, 90, of Turbeville, passed away Wednesday, April 6, 2022 after a short illness. She was the daughter of Joseph Ben Page and Pauline Faulk Page of Lakeview, South Carolina. Joyce enjoyed a long business career as an officer of Stephenson Finance Company, a tennis coach for Clarendon High School, and as the office manager of Grace Construction Company. She was devoted to her large family and served them lovingly her entire life.Her love of Christ and her servant's heart showed in her every kindness to family and friends. Joyce led an active life, including being a high school All State basketball player and cheerleader in her early years, and a tournament and team tennis player well into her 80’s. She loved spending time at the beach and in Key Largo, Florida, and playing regular card games with friends. In addition to her parents, she is predeceased by her brother, Kermit Page; sisters, Shirley Rogers and Jan Lombardo; foster brother, James “Tessie” Page; and spouses, Charles Grace III, Phil Stephenson, Sr. and Herman Baird. Mrs. Baird is survived by her sons, Charles M. (Kathy) Grace, IV and Joseph P. Grace; grandchildren, Mary Marshall Grace (Alan) Gribbin, Joseph (Erika) Grace Jr., Anna Grace (Barrett) McFatter, and Merritt Grace; great-grandchildren, Fiona Grace, Caroline Parker McFatter, and Mary Charles Gribbin; brother, Ben Page; sisters, Judy Raspberry and Linda Hyatt; and numerous nieces and nephews. The family will receive friends from 3:00 - 5:00 PM Saturday, April 9, 2022 at Stoudenmire-Dowling Funeral Home. Funeral services will be held at 3 PM Sunday, April 10, 2022, in the funeral home chapel with interment to follow in Mount Hope Cemetery.
