Judith E. White

Judith E. White, 77, of Florence, passed away on Friday, October 29, 2021. Mrs. White was born in Ellenton, SC a daughter of the late Carl Baxley, Jr. and Gertrude “Trudy” Pettis Baxley.She was a member of St. Paul United Methodist Church where she was a Sunday School Teacher and was very involved in church activities.She loved spending time with her family and taking family trips.She loved to travel, taking pictures, and cooking. She was preceded in death by her parents and by a sister, Barbara Leon. Surviving are her husband, Thomas L. White of Florence; sons, Christian (Julie) White of Florence and Jason (Michelle) White of Charleston; grandchildren, Julianne White and Chapman White, both of Florence, and Olivia White and Wyatt White, both of Charleston; brother, Carl F. Baxley, III; sister, Brenda Mitchell. Memorials may be made to St. Paul United Methodist Church, 1629 W. Palmetto Street, Florence, SC29501. The family will receive friends from 5 – 7 pm Monday, November 1, 2021 at Stoudenmire-Dowling Funeral Home. Funeral services will be held at 12:00 noon Tuesday, November 2, 2021 at St. Paul United Methodist Church.Burial will follow in Florence Memorial Gardens Cemetery.
