June Squires Hyman

June Squires Hyman, 82, of Florence, SC, passed away on Wednesday, December 25, 2024. Mrs. Hyman was born in Mullins, SC, the daughter of the late Albertine Hucks Squires and Roy S. Squires. She met her loving husband, Kenneth Hyman, of 42 years while working at Horne Ford. She retired from Ken Hyman Auto Sales where she had worked as a secretary for 22 years. Mrs. Hyman loved her family and loved going to the beach. In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her husband, Kenneth Legrand Hyman; brother, Anthony Wayne Squires; brother-in-law, Don Waddington and sister-in-law, Cynthia Squires. Surviving are her daughter, Kim Hyman of Florence; grandchild, Thomas Kenneth Hopwood; brother, Samuel “Sammy” (Ellenor) Squires of Hemingway and sisters, Melanie Waddington of Florence, Yvonne Grier of Hemingway and Linda Squires of Garden City, SC and sister-in-law, Martha Squires of Hemingway, SC, and many special nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends. The family will receive friends from 4:00 – 6:00 PM on Sunday, December 29, 2024, at Stoudenmire-Dowling Funeral Home. Funeral service will be held at 2:00 PM on Monday, December 30, 2024, at Stoudenmire-Dowling Funeral Home Chapel. Burial will follow at Florence Memorial Gardens.
