Jutson Allen Blackmon

Jutson Allen Blackmon, 77, of Florence, SC, passed away on Sunday, August 13, 2023. Mr. Blackmon was born in Darlington, SC, the son of the late Bennie Gregg Blackmon and Janie Wilkes Blackmon. He attended Darlington schools before serving in the United States Army. He retired from General Electric after working there for many years. Mr. Blackmon was a Mason and Shriner, who was also a member of Northgate Baptist Church. In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by his son, Anthony Blackmon. Surviving are his wife, Judith “Judy” Yarborough Blackmon; grandchildren, Christian Ryan Blackmon and Amber Nicole Hooks; great-grandchildren, Liberty McKayla Hooks and Blayton Blackmon. The family will receive friends from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM, Wednesday, August 16, 2023, at Stoudenmire-Dowling Funeral Home. Funeral service will be held at 11:00 AM, Wednesday, August 16, 2023, at the funeral home. Burial will follow at Florence Memorial Gardens with military honors.
