Kathy Pridgen Merrill

Kathy Pridgen Merrill, 68, of Florence, passed away on Tuesday, February 1, 2022. Mrs. Merrill was born in Charleston, SC a daughter of Kathleen Conyers Pridgen and the late Carlton Pridgen.She was a member of Tans Bay Baptist Church and a homemaker. She was preceded in death by her father, and by her husband, Russell Walter Merrill. Surviving are her mother; sons, Robert “Erik” (Crystal) Merrill and Thomas “Austin” Merrill (Allie Williams), both of Florence; grandson, Bentley Merrill; sister, Patty Matthews of Florence; and extended family, Donna, Ronnie, and Madison Poston. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Miracle League of Florence County, 710 South Irby Street, Florence, SC 29501 or to Tans Bay Baptist Church, 3919 S. Irby Street, Florence, SC29501. A church led memorial service will be held at 7:00 pm Friday, February 4, 2022 at Tans Bay Baptist Church.The family will receive friends after the service.
