Lannis Gewene Anderson

Lannis Gewene Anderson, 78, of Timmonsville, passed away on Thursday, September 28, 2023. Mrs. Anderson was born in Wilmington, NC, a daughter of the late E. McKinnon Hobbs and Geneva Ruth Hall. She was a critical care registered nurse at Mcleod Hospital for 34 years. Mrs. Anderson loved the beach and riding her Harley Davidson. She really loved life and enjoyed everyone in it. Her husband, CB, was truly the love of her life. The last several years, Gewene suffered from dementia. During her final days, Mcleod Hospice House rendered the very best care that anyone could ask for. Our sincere thanks to them. Surviving are her husband, C.B. Anderson, Jr. of Timmonsville; son, Carl Suggs, Jr.; daughter, Sheila Suggs McKenzie; grandchildren, Holden Suggs and Sadie Rebecca McKenzie; and two adopted brothers. In lieu of flowers, folks may want to consider a donation to Mcleod Hospice House in memory of Gewene at P. O. Box 100551, Florence, SC 29502. Services will be announced at a later date.
