Larry Wilkes

Larry Wilkes Timmonsville, SC Larry Wilkes, 64, of Timmonsville passed away Monday, February 6, 2012 at his residence after an illness. Mr. Wilkes was born in Florence, a son of the late Willard and Nannie Bell Andrews Wilkes. He retired from Industrial Machine and Fabrication after over 30 years as the owner/operator. He was a member of Southside Baptist Church, and had served in the National Guard. Mr. Wilkes was preceded in death by his parents; and by a brother, Clyde Wilkes. Mr. Wilkes is survived by his wife of 44 years, Deloris Matuse Wilkes of the home; 3 children, Wendy Wilkes of Timmonsville, Brad (Jill) Wilkes of Florence, and Chris Wilkes of Timmonsville; 2 grandchildren, Kelsey Wilkes and Claire Wilkes. Funeral services will be held at 2:00PM Wednesday, February 8, 2012 in the chapel of Stoudenmire-Dowling Funeral Home. Burial will follow at Mount Hope Cemetery. The family will receive friends 6-8:00PM Tuesday at the funeral home.
