Larsie West Cassidy

Larsie West Cassidy, 95, of Florence, SC, passed away on Saturday, April 20, 2024. Ms. Cassidy was born the daughter of the late Armathia Guinn Naylor and Thedie Naylor. She retired from Sara Lee Hosiery, loved to fish and was a lifetime accomplished seamstress. In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her husband, Reverend Noel Ray Cassidy; her sons, Dean West and James West; three grandchildren and son-in-law, Arnold Duke. Surviving are daughters, Geraldine (Leon) Gandy, Janice (David Knight) Sisco and Jean Duke; ten grandchildren, twenty-one great-grandchildren; fourteen great-great grandchildren; and sister, Ernestine (Johnny) Tew. She is also survived by her dog, Bruno. Graveside Service will be held at 1:00 PM on Monday, April 22, 2024, at Florence Memorial Gardens directed by Stoudenmire-Dowling Funeral Home.
