Lily Stricker Richardson

Lily Stricker Richardson, 99, of Florence, SC passed away Monday, December 30, 2024. Mrs. Richardson was born in Chester, SC, the daughter of the late Robert Glenn Stricker and Ida Smith Stricker. She was a Charter Member of Highland Park United Methodist Church and a graduate of Columbia College. She taught school until the birth of her children, when she dedicated her life to caring for her family. In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her husband, Francis "Freeman" F. Richardson; brother, Henry Glenn Stricker; and sister, Ethel Murray. Surviving are her sons, Robert “Bobby” F. Richardson and Benjamin “Ben” S. Richardson; daughter, Linda “Kay” R. Grimball; grandchildren, Bubba Richardson (Ashley) and Elisabeth Williamson (Russ); and great-grandchildren, Reese Williamson, Aiden Richardson and Zander Richardson. Memorials may be made to Highland Park United Methodist Church, 1300 Second Loop Road, Florence, SC 29505.
