Linda Sharon Smith Kennedy

Sharon Kennedy, of Port St. Lucie, Florida, went home to be with her Lord and Savior on April 10, 2024, following an extended illness. Ms. Kennedy was born in Columbia, SC the daughter of Constance Summerford Windham and the late Lawrence Smith (Clara). Sharon’s life revolved around spending time with her beloved family and most of all, her grandchildren. Time spent in the presence of her four grandchildren, making memories, were the happiest and most fulfilling times in her life. In addition to her father, she is predeceased by her son, Phillip Casey Kennedy and her brother, Dino Martinez. Surviving are her parents, Constance Summerford Windham, stepfather Fuller (Nita) Windham and stepmother Clara Smith; daughters, Gina Altman and Rion McAllister (Brandon); her grandchildren who were the light of her world, Mason Altman (Mary), Walker Altman, Penny McAllister and Cassidy McAllister; and siblings, Laura Revell (Jeff), Windy Windham, Sissy Grimsley (Steve) and Jeff Windham (Renea) of Florence, SC, & St. Mary’s GA, as well as Buddy Smith (Miriam), Mike Martinez (Kim), and Susan Robinson (Rick) of Greenville, SC. She also leaves behind many loving extended family members who will treasure fond memories of their time together. The Memorial Service will be held to honor her life at 2:00pm on Saturday, April 27, 2024, at Stoudenmire-Dowling Funeral Home. Following the service, the family will be receiving visitors at 701 S Botany Dr, Florence, SC 29501, as they celebrate her life and what would have been Sharon’s 70th Birthday.
