Linnie Jeanette Lewis Hill

Linnie Jeanette Lewis Hill, 81, of Effingham, SC, passed away on Sunday, July 14, 2024. She was born in Florence, SC, daughter of the late Tom Lewis and Ruby Hatchell Lewis. Mrs. Hill was a retired bus supervisor from Florence School District #1. She attended Elim Baptist Church and was a member of the Shriners. In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her husband, Wilson A. Hill, Jr.; sons, Clifton E. Hill and Wilson David Hill; brother, Ronald Lewis; sisters, Joyce Simkins and her furbabies, Sugarfoot, BB and Baby Boy. Surviving are her sister, Kitten Lewis; close friend and extended family, Rachel Jeffords and her children; a number of nieces and nephews and sister-in-law, Jill Jolly and her daughter, Janel. A graveside service will be held at 10:00 AM on Wednesday, July 17, 2024, at Elim Baptist Church Cemetery directed by Stoudenmire-Dowling Funeral Home.
