Liston "Buck" Hyman, Jr.

Liston “Buck” Hyman, Jr., 88, of Pamplico, passed away on Monday, September 26, 2022. Mr. Hyman was born in Pamplico, SC a son of the late Liston Hyman, Sr. and Doziere Giles Hyman. He retired from Pet Dairy as truck driver and trainer and was a member of Beulah Baptist Church. He was preceded in death by his parents; wife, Geneva Eleanor Oakley Hyman; brother, Wesley Hyman; sisters, Edna Mae Dowdy, Maggie Lee Miles, and Dorothy Hudson. Surviving are his daughters, Ettaphine Hyman (Joe) McKnight of Florence, Vicky Hyman (Harry) Gordon of Pamplico, and Tammy Hyman (Wendell) Sealy of Manchester, TN; grandchildren, Joey (Rachel) McKnight, Carmen McKnight and fiancé, Jason Singletary, Jonathan (Joy) McKnight, Jim (Beth) Gordon, Robert (Julie) Gordon, Jessica (Chris) Ringley, Ashley (David) Peterman, and Samuel (Eden) Sealy; great-grandchildren, Max McKnight, Kevin McKnight, Cameron McKnight, Lacey Gordon, Ethan Isgett, Luke Gordon, David Gordon, Eden McKnight, Andrew Gordon, Ava Ringley, Hattie McKnight, Kenzi McKnight, Caleb Gordon, Olivia Ringley, and Austin Ringley; and great-great-grandchild, Sawyer McKnight; brother, Bobby (Janette) Hyman of Florence and sister, Viola (Harry) Poston of Pamplico. Memorials may be made to the Alzheimer’s Association, www.alz.org. The family will receive friends from 5 – 7 pm Wednesday, September 28, 2022 at Stoudenmire-Dowling Funeral Home. Funeral services will be held at 11:00 am Thursday, September 29, 2022 in the Stoudenmire-Dowling Funeral Home chapel with burial to follow at Beulah Baptist Church Cemetery, Hyman, SC.
