Lloyd Vernon Bonds

Lloyd Vernon Bonds, 72, of Pamplico, SC, passed away on Friday, March 8, 2024. Mr. Bonds was born the son of the late Marie Ashmore Bonds and Clarence J. Bonds. He retired in 2013 as parts manager for the State Department of Education with Florence School Bus Shop after 33 years of service. He loved to hunt and fish and was a youth baseball coach. Mr. Bonds was a member of Lebanon Baptist Church. In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by two brothers and his sister. Surviving are his wife, Jackie Gaines Bonds; son, Jay (Bradley) Bonds of Florence; daughter, Julia (Marston) Lee of Florence; five grandchildren; brother, Joe Bonds of Fort Mill, SC; and several nieces and nephews. Graveside Service will be held at 3:00 PM on Monday, March 11, 2024, at Florence Memorial Gardens directed by Stoudenmire-Dowling Funeral Home.
