Lorenzo Rivera Vergara

Lorenzo Rivera Vergara, 85, of Florence, SC, passed away Monday, February 17, 2025. He was the son of the late Lorenzo R. Vergara and Nenita Rivera Vergara. Lorenzo worked at Honda Manufacturing in quality control for 10 years. He was a member of Saint Anthony Catholic Church. In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by his daughter, Lorie Vergara Bailey. He is survived by the mother of his children, Elena Vergara; his son Arnold Vergara; daughters, Maria Jeanette Weaver, Glenda Nikolakakos and Liezl Vergara Bonilla; 15 grandchildren; and sister, Rosela V. Goldman. The family will receive friends and family Friday, February 21, 2025, from 6:00 to 8:00 PM at Stoudenmire-Dowling Funeral Home. A funeral mass will be held 10:00 am Friday, February 28, at Saint Anthony Catholic Church.
