Louise L. Kirby

Louise Leah Kirby, 79, Of Florence, SC passed away Friday, February 14, 2025. Mrs. Kirby was born in Timmonsville, SC, the daughter of the late Hazel McElveen and Richard Gaymon. She worked and retired in 2015, as a Supervisor with Chase Mortgage Co. after 12 years. She was a member of Bethany Free Will Baptist Church and later attended Lighthouse Free Will Baptist. In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her husband, Burnett G. Kirby; a grandchild; and two brothers. Surviving are her daughters, Lorie Moore, Renee Driggers, and Stacy Jones; four grandchildren; four great grandchildren; brother, Alford (Alice) Gaymon; and sister, Kathy (Terry) Driggers. Funeral service will be 2:00 PM Monday, February 17, 2025, at Mount Hope Cemetery Mausoleum directed by Stoudenmire-Dowling Funeral Home. Entombment to follow.
